Mushroom Hamburger Dijon made with Prime Fresh Mushrooms
Mushroom Hamburger Dijon
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces freshly sliced mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons dry white wine or water
  • 2 slices french bread, toasted
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard

Form beef into 2 patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in 8-10 inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat to desired doneness; remove and keep hot. Reduce heat to medium. Deglaze pan with wine. Stir in mustard and tarragon. Add mushrooms. Cook about 5 minutes, tossing occasionally, until mushrooms are tender.
To serve, place hamburgers on toast. Spoon mushroom mixture over hamburgers.
